Quick answer
Of 28 AI SDR tools I checked on their own websites on 3 November 2026, 21 publish a price. Standalone AI SDR tools, the ones that research, write and send for you, start at a median of $416 a month, and half start between $97 and $700. AI agents built into sales platforms like Apollo, lemlist and Instantly start much lower, at about $52 a seat, because the agent comes bundled with the plan. 8 tools put their headline price behind a quarterly or annual commitment, and 11 describe a mode where you approve messages before they go out.
AI SDR vendors love a demo and hate a price tag, or so I assumed. So I went through 28 AI SDR tools and wrote down every price, billing term and approval setting their own websites show. This is the companion to my outbound agency pricing report, so you can put the two next to each other. The full data is a CSV at the end.
Disclosure. I build outbound systems with several of these tools, and I have written articles for Salesforge's blog. Done-for-you outbound is sold by Shipyard GTM (my agency), which competes with AI SDR tools for the same budget. No vendor saw or paid for this report, and every figure comes from the vendor's own site.
The numbers in one table
| Type | Tools checked | Publish a price | Median starting price, per month | Price tied to a quarterly or annual term | Describe an approve-first mode |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| AI SDR tools | 17 | 14 | $416 | 7 | 8 |
| Agents inside sales platforms | 11 | 7 | $52 | 1 | 3 |
| All tools | 28 | 21 | $149 | 8 | 11 |
Starting price means the cheapest plan that includes the AI SDR, in US dollars a month as shown on the page. Per-seat prices are for one seat. The medians count only tools that publish a monthly figure.
How I checked
- Own website only. Every figure comes from the vendor's pricing page, product page or FAQ, read on 3 November 2026. Several pricing pages only render in a real browser, so they were read that way. No review sites and no comparison articles.
- What counts as an AI SDR. Software that researches prospects and writes and sends outbound, or qualifies inbound leads, with little human work. I split it in two: standalone AI SDR tools, and AI agents sold inside a broader sales platform (Apollo, lemlist, Instantly, HubSpot and others). General agent builders and voice-only tools are left out.
- What counts as publishing a price. A currency figure a visitor can see for the plan that includes the agent. A price hidden in the page code, or a platform price that doesn't say whether the agent is included, does not count.
- Billing. I use the per-month figure the vendor shows. Where only an annual or quarterly total is shown, I divide it. Where a tool shows a monthly and an annual price, the starting price is the lower one, and the table says which.
What the published prices are
21 of 28 tools publish a price. That's far more open than outbound agencies, where it was 28 of 62. Most AI SDR tools sell self-serve, so the price has to be on the page.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Unify | Agent in a sales platform | $20 to $60 a seat a month | $20 | Per seat |

| Apollo.io AI agents | Agent in a sales platform | $49 to $149 a seat a month, agents in the plan | $49 | Per seat |
| lemlist lemAgent | Agent in a sales platform | $55 to $109 a month, agents in the plan | $55 | Per seat |
| Swan | AI SDR tool | $80 to $419 a month | $80 | Per contact or credit |

| Coldreach | AI SDR tool | $899 or $1,349 a month, 3-month term | $899 | Flat plan |
| Warmly AI Inbound Autopilot | Inbound AI SDR | $30,000 a year or $9,750 a quarter | $2,500 | Flat plan |
| AiSDR | AI SDR tool | $1.50 per person prospected | No monthly figure | Per contact or credit |
| HubSpot Prospecting agent | Agent in a sales platform | $1 per lead, on top of a HubSpot plan | No monthly figure | Per contact or credit |
Each tool name links to the page I took the price from. No price shown: 11x, Clay, Outreach, Qualified, Relevance AI, Salesforce Agentforce, Smartlead. 11x's /pricing page returns a 404, Qualified's three tiers all say "Contact us", and Clay and Smartlead price their platforms but not the agent.
Two kinds of AI SDR, two price levels
The data splits cleanly in two.
- Standalone AI SDR tools sell the agent itself: it finds the contacts, writes and sends. They start at a median of $416 a month, with half between $97 and $700. Examples: Artisan $250 a month billed annually, Reply.io Jason AI SDR $500 billed annually, Coldreach $899 on a three-month term.
- Agents inside sales platforms come bundled with a seat on a tool reps already use. They start at a median of about $52 a seat. Apollo lists agents as a row in its plan table, Instantly includes its AI Sales Agent in every bundle and lemlist bundles lemAgent into its plans.
The cheap platform price is not the same product. A platform agent helps a rep do the work. A standalone AI SDR is sold as the one doing it. Regie.ai is the clearest example of the platform side: its product page says nothing sends or dials unless the rep tells it to.
Inbound AI SDRs, the ones that answer and qualify website visitors, are the top of the market. Warmly lists its AI Inbound Autopilot from $30,000 a year, and Qualified's Piper is quote only.
Seat, contact or credit
Standalone tools mostly charge by contacts, credits or a flat plan, because the agent does the work. Platform agents mostly charge per seat, because they sell to reps. Read the unit before you compare:
- Credits expire or roll over differently. Apollo's unused credits expire at the end of the period, Swan rolls them over up to twice the plan on monthly billing, and Unify carries top-up credits for up to 12 months.
- Per contact can mean different things. AiSDR charges $1.50 per person prospected. HubSpot charges $1 for each lead its prospecting agent recommends outreach for, on top of a HubSpot plan.
- Seat minimums raise the floor. Regie.ai's Team plan needs two seats, Topo's three and Apollo's Organization plan three.
Quarterly and annual lock-ins
8 of the 21 tools that publish a price show their headline price only on a quarterly or annual commitment: Artisan, AiSDR, Salesforge, Amplemarket, Persana AI, Coldreach, Warmly, B2B Rocket. Coldreach states a three-month term on every plan, and B2B Rocket bills quarterly.
Where a monthly option exists, it costs a lot more. Reply.io's AI SDR Starter is $500 a month billed annually and $800 billed monthly. Valley is $199 a seat a month, or $149 billed quarterly.
A year up front is a big bet on a category where tools change fast. I wrote down what to check before you sign in the AI SDR contract checklist.
When a pricing page disagrees with itself
- Salesforge: the Agent Frank card says $499 a month billed annually ($599 billed quarterly), while the contacts slider on the same page prices up to 1,000 active contacts at $416 a month billed annually.
- Reply.io: the toggle says "save up to 50%" on annual billing, while the prices shown work out to 37.5% and 40% off.
- Warmly: "Save 30%" on annual, while its Autopilot tier works out to 23% off the quarterly price.
- Clay: three different starting prices for the same plan on one page.
- Jeeva AI: its free plan shows more emails a month than its paid Growth plan.
Probably page-building slips, not tricks. Still, screenshot the plan you buy, and get the price and term on the order form.
AI SDR vs outbound agency: the sticker and the real cost
On the sticker it's no contest. Standalone AI SDR tools start at a median of $416 a month. The outbound agencies in my agency pricing report start at a median of $3,000.
But the subscription is rarely the whole bill. Most tool prices leave out the sending domains and inboxes, data beyond the included credits, and the hours someone spends setting up the targeting, checking what goes out and fixing what breaks. 11 of the 28 tools describe a mode where you approve messages before they go out, and that approval is somebody's time. I break the full math down in AI SDR unit economics.
Compare on the cost per held meeting after three months, with the tool, the inboxes, the data and the hours all in.

FAQ
How much does an AI SDR cost per month?
In my November 2026 check, standalone AI SDR tools start at a median of $416 a month, with half between $97 and $700. Examples from their own pricing pages: Artisan $250 a month billed annually, Salesforge Agent Frank $416 to $499, Reply.io Jason AI SDR $500 billed annually or $800 monthly, Coldreach $899 on a three-month term. Inbound AI SDRs cost more: Warmly lists $30,000 a year.
Which AI SDR tools publish their prices?
21 of the 28 tools I checked show a price. The ones that don't: 11x, Clay, Outreach, Qualified, Relevance AI, Salesforce Agentforce, Smartlead. Their pages ask you to talk to sales or price only the platform around the agent.
Is an AI SDR cheaper than an outbound agency?
On the sticker, yes. Standalone AI SDR tools start at a median of $416 a month, while the outbound agencies in my pricing report start at a median of $3,000. But the tool price usually leaves out sending domains and inboxes, data beyond the included credits and the person who sets up, checks and fixes the campaigns. Compare the total cost per held meeting, not the subscription.
Do AI SDR tools require annual contracts?
Many do for their headline price. 8 of the 21 tools that publish a price only show it on a quarterly or annual commitment, among them Artisan, AiSDR, Salesforge, Amplemarket, Persana AI. Where a monthly price exists it costs more: Reply.io's AI SDR Starter is $500 a month billed annually and $800 billed monthly.
How do AI SDR tools charge, per seat or per contact?
Both, and it splits by product type. Standalone AI SDRs mostly charge by contacts, credits or a flat plan, because the agent does the work. Agents inside sales platforms mostly charge per seat, because they sell to reps. Across all 28 tools: 8 per contact or credit, 7 per seat, 6 flat plan and 7 custom quote.
