Callbox Alternatives: 9 Agencies Compared on Price, Delivery Model and Markets

Quick answer

Callbox's own site quotes two different numbers for the same one-pod program: $16,000 to $32,000 a quarter on its pricing page, $20,000 to $40,000 a quarter on its own FAQ page, both checked 24 October 2026. Belkins, CIENCE, Cleverly, Ripe Leads, SalesRoads, Martal Group, SalesHive, Leadium and Shipyard GTM, my own agency, are the nine I'd actually compare it against, picked because each either publishes a clearer number or skips the heavy Philippines-based delivery model Callbox runs on.

What Callbox actually sells

I run cold email and LinkedIn outbound for B2B clients and compete with agencies like Callbox for the same budget line, so take the read below as an informed competitor's, not a neutral referee's. Callbox is an Encino, California headquartered lead generation agency, founded in 2004, that sells "Campaign Pods": a dedicated team of a Customer Success Manager, Production Manager, SDRs, research analysts and digital marketers, covering cold calling, cold email, LinkedIn, web retargeting, chat and event follow-up from one contract. Its own FAQ is direct about where the work actually happens: "Our headquarters is located in Encino, CA, and the bulk of our operations are carried out in the Philippines," on top of smaller offices in Australia, Singapore and Malaysia. The company says it has 700+ full-time staff and has served 15,000+ companies, and it positions itself for "global enterprise leaders" entering new regions.

Disclosure. I run cold email and LinkedIn outbound for B2B companies, and in 2026 I started my own agency, Shipyard GTM. That makes me a competitor to every agency named here, Callbox included. Shipyard is on the alternatives list below because it's a real option for some readers, but it's mine, so it never goes first and gets the same "watch for" treatment as everyone else. I have no commercial deal with any other agency in this article, and prices and terms change, so check each one's own site before you sign.

Why people look for an alternative

A few reasons come up once you've actually read Callbox's own site closely rather than just the homepage:

  1. The price doesn't reconcile. The pricing page and the pricing FAQ, both on callboxinc.com, give two different ranges for the same program. More on the exact numbers below.
  2. Delivery is mostly offshore. If "15,000+ companies served" and "6 offices across 4 continents" sounded like a large onshore operation, the company's own FAQ corrects that: the bulk of the work happens in the Philippines.
  3. It's built for a bigger buyer than you. The site addresses "global enterprise leaders" and the quoted price sits in five figures a quarter before any add-on, which prices out a lot of the B2B companies actually searching for this.
  4. No performance pricing, by design. Callbox's own FAQ states plainly that it doesn't charge per lead and the cost "is not based on performance outcomes," so all the delivery risk sits with you regardless of which of its own two price ranges applies.

Which ones actually publish a price?

Three of the nine name a real figure, plus Callbox itself names two that don't match. CIENCE lists $2,000 a month for its campaign team and $499 a month for its graph8 platform, then SDRs starting at $1,750 a month offshore up to $3,500 a month in the US or Europe, with only the setup fee quoted on a call, per its own pricing page (checked 24 October 2026). Cleverly advertises LinkedIn plans from $397 to $997 a month on its own FAQ (checked 24 October 2026), with a separate pay-per-meeting-ready-lead model for cold email that carries no published rate. Ripe Leads charges €3,750 for the first month and €2,850 a month after, per its own site (checked 24 October 2026). SalesRoads lists $11,950 per 4-week period for one SDR, falling to $7,192 per rep at six SDRs, on its own pricing page (checked 24 October 2026). Belkins, Martal Group, SalesHive and Leadium quote only after a call, same as the actual dollar figure behind Callbox's own range.

Callbox is the odd one out for a different reason: it publishes pricing, but the two pages don't agree. Its pricing page, checked 24 October 2026, reads "Estimated Quarterly Investment: $16,000-$32,000" for one pod. Its own pricing FAQ, checked the same day, says "Our clients spend between US$20,000 and US$40,000 quarterly on their Callbox program." Both are now labelled quarterly, which wasn't true as recently as mid-October when the pricing page described the same $16,000 to $32,000 figure as a monthly investment, so the billing period on that page appears to have been corrected since. The two quoted ranges still don't match each other though, so neither page on its own tells you what you'll actually pay.

Which ones skip the offshore call center model?

If the actual objection to Callbox is "I didn't realise most of the work happens in the Philippines," the alternatives split cleanly. SalesRoads, SalesHive and Leadium all run dedicated US-based reps and say so directly on their own sites, SalesRoads' comparison table even contrasts its "5 to 10 years industry experience" reps against what it calls typical offshore churn. Martal Group sells the same pitch for a North American and European buyer, with reps split roughly 60% US, 20% Canada, 10% EU and 10% LATAM by its own count. Ripe Leads and Shipyard GTM are founder-and-small-team European operations run out of Vilnius, the opposite end of the spectrum from a 700-person multi-continent shop. None of that makes offshore delivery wrong on its own, Callbox's genuine strength is staffed local offices across APAC, EMEA and LATAM for buyers actually expanding into those regions, but if you just want a dedicated person you can get on a call with in your own time zone, these six are the closer match.

Which ones don't lock you into a long contract

SalesRoads says "cancel anytime, no commitments." CIENCE is month to month and you can add or remove SDRs each month. Ripe Leads asks for 28 days' notice. Cleverly's cold email runs on a pay-per-meeting-ready-lead model with no contract, though its LinkedIn subscriptions are a standing plan. SalesHive and Shipyard GTM, my agency, both run month to month. Martal Group is the opposite case: a paid 3 or 4 month pilot comes before the monthly plan even starts. Belkins and Leadium don't publish a minimum term either way, and Callbox's own site doesn't state one either, a quarterly billing cycle isn't the same thing as a stated minimum commitment.

Each alternative in short

Belkins

US and Ukraine. A managed, multi-channel programme, research, email and LinkedIn, around a dedicated team per client. Good for: a comparably large review trail to Callbox's own, if you want client feedback before signing with either. Watch for: no published price, so you trade one opaque quote for another. Full Belkins review.

CIENCE

Miami based, now part of the graph8 group after it acquired CIENCE's assets. Good for: modelling almost the entire cost yourself if Callbox's two contradicting numbers are the actual dealbreaker. Watch for: the lowest third-party rating in this set, and much of its review history predates the acquisition. Full CIENCE review.

Cleverly

Los Angeles, LinkedIn led with email and calling as extra channels. Good for: testing LinkedIn or email outreach at roughly a tenth of Callbox's quarterly minimum. Watch for: standardised volume work at this price, not the multi-region, multi-channel build Callbox sells. Full Cleverly review.

Ripe Leads

Vilnius, founder led cold email and LinkedIn with a published euro rate card and campaigns run in German, Polish and Lithuanian as well as English. Good for: a transparent retainer and direct access to the person doing the work, the opposite of a 700-person operation. Watch for: launched in 2026, nothing like Callbox's two decades of track record to check. Full Ripe Leads review.

SalesRoads

Boca Raton, phone and email with experienced US based reps, by its own account. Good for: a published, no-commitment price if phone is actually your lead channel and you don't need Callbox's other regions. Watch for: no LinkedIn and no markets outside the US, so it can't replace Callbox's multi-region reach. Full SalesRoads review.

Martal Group

Oakville, Canada, 200+ onshore reps split roughly 60% US, 20% Canada, 10% EU and 10% LATAM. Good for: a closer already in the target market, since the higher tiers put a fractional sales executive into the deal past the booked meeting, something Callbox's pod structure doesn't claim to do. Watch for: a paid pilot before the monthly plan and no published price, so there's no cheap way to test it either. Full Martal Group review.

SalesHive

Denver based, phone and email on its own platform, one flat monthly fee with no setup cost. Good for: watching the actual activity inside SalesHive's own dashboard instead of waiting on a monthly report, and a flat fee instead of Callbox's disputed quarterly range. Watch for: no LinkedIn, and its schema sets area served to the US only, so it's not a substitute if you need Callbox's non-US delivery. For the full breakdown of SalesHive's own pricing gaps and who else to weigh against it, see my SalesHive alternatives roundup. Full SalesHive review.

Leadium

Las Vegas, a small, fully US based SDR team that deliberately cut back to around 50 clients, by its own published timeline. Good for: being one of a few accounts rather than one of 15,000 companies served. Watch for: no published pricing and no non-English coverage, so no substitute for Callbox's stated 30+ languages. Full Leadium review.

Shipyard GTM (my agency)

Vilnius. Done for you outbound on email and LinkedIn, run as one sequence rather than two separate budgets, for B2B companies with product-market fit. It maps the target market first, then builds the data, signals and sending inside your own tools. Fixed monthly price after a first call, month to month, and you keep the domains, inboxes, data and copy if you leave. Good for: companies much smaller than the enterprise buyers Callbox is built for, who want email and LinkedIn working off one list and one reply inbox. Watch for: launched in October 2026, so no public reviews or published case studies yet, no price on the site, and no phone channel if that's actually what you need from Callbox. shipyardgtm.com.

A rough cost per meeting, with the assumptions shown

Since Callbox's own two prices don't agree, here's a way to sanity check whatever number a call with them actually lands on. Assume a single-pod program and a target of 8 to 12 qualified meetings a month (swap in your own number, this is a common lower mid retainer target, not a researched fact). Taking Callbox's own low figure, $16,000 a quarter is roughly $5,333 a month, which is about $444 to $667 per meeting at 8 to 12 meetings. Taking its own high figure, $40,000 a quarter is roughly $13,333 a month, or about $1,111 to $1,667 per meeting over the same range. That's a band of roughly $450 to $1,700 per meeting from Callbox's own published numbers alone, before you even compare it with a cheaper alternative like CIENCE, whose $2,000 team fee plus one offshore SDR at $1,750 comes to $3,750 a month, or about $310 to $470 per meeting at the same volume. I've booked 2000+ meetings for B2B clients across a range of prices like these, and the gap between an agency's low and high self-quoted number is usually the first thing worth asking about on the call. For the wider market, including pay-per-meeting models this doesn't cover, see how much appointment setting actually costs.

Tip. Ask Callbox, or any agency on this list, to quote you against your own meeting target rather than theirs, and to confirm in writing which of its own published ranges actually applies to your contract. A "qualified meeting" definition loose enough to hit volume is the easiest way for the per-meeting number above to look better than it performs.

Questions to ask before you sign

Which of your own published price ranges actually applies to my contract, and what does that figure include? What is the total cost of the first three months, setup and any pilot included? Who is actually dialing or sending, a direct employee or a subcontracted team in another office? Who owns the domains, mailboxes and lead data when I leave (here's why that answer matters more than it sounds)? And exactly what counts as a qualified meeting, and who decides if one doesn't show?

When Callbox is still the right call

If you're actually expanding into several regions at once, Germany, Singapore and Australia in the same quarter for example, Callbox's staffed local offices and stated local-language campaigns are a real capability most agencies on this list simply don't have. A single vendor covering phone, email, LinkedIn, retargeting and event follow-up across multiple continents is a genuine convenience if your buyer sits in more than one of those markets. The trade is the one you started with: pick a number off either of its own two pages and confirm it in writing before you sign, because the pages themselves won't tell you which one is real. Full Callbox review.

Key takeaways

  • Callbox's pricing page says $16,000 to $32,000 a quarter for one pod, its own FAQ says $20,000 to $40,000 a quarter, both checked 24 October 2026, and they still don't agree.
  • CIENCE, Cleverly, Ripe Leads and SalesRoads all publish real numbers that are easier to compare than Callbox's two conflicting ones.
  • SalesRoads, SalesHive, Leadium, Martal Group, Ripe Leads and Shipyard GTM keep delivery onshore or founder-led, the opposite of Callbox's mostly Philippines-based team.
  • Callbox's real strength is genuine multi-region, multi-language delivery from staffed local offices, which most of these nine alternatives can't match.
  • Confirm which of Callbox's own published price ranges applies to your contract in writing before you sign, not after.

FAQ

What is a good alternative to Callbox?

It depends on why you're looking. For a published price that's easier to trust than Callbox's own conflicting range, CIENCE, Cleverly, Ripe Leads or SalesRoads. For onshore or founder-led delivery instead of a mostly Philippines-based team, SalesRoads, SalesHive, Leadium, Martal Group, Ripe Leads or Shipyard GTM. For the same multi-region, multi-channel reach as Callbox, Belkins is the closest match, though it doesn't publish a price either.

Does Callbox publish its real pricing?

It publishes two different ranges for the same program and they don't match. Its pricing page says $16,000 to $32,000 a quarter for one Campaign Pod, checked 24 October 2026. Its own pricing FAQ says clients spend $20,000 to $40,000 a quarter. Both pages now describe the figure as quarterly, which the pricing page didn't consistently say as recently as mid-October, but the two numbers themselves still disagree.

Why is most of Callbox's work done in the Philippines?

Callbox is headquartered in Encino, California, but its own FAQ states plainly that "the bulk of our operations are carried out in the Philippines," alongside smaller offices in Australia, Singapore and Malaysia. That's the delivery model behind its 700+ staff and 15,000+ companies served claims.

Which Callbox alternative is cheapest to start with?

Cleverly, with LinkedIn plans from $397 to $997 a month on its own FAQ, checked 24 October 2026. That buys a standardised outreach service, not the full multi-channel, multi-region build Callbox sells, so it suits a much smaller buyer than Callbox's own "global enterprise leaders" pitch.

Is Callbox worth it if I'm expanding into several countries at once?

If your buyers actually sit across multiple regions in the same quarter, Callbox's staffed local offices and stated local-language campaigns across APAC, EMEA and LATAM are a real capability most of the nine alternatives here don't have. Confirm which of its own two published price ranges applies to your contract before you sign either way.

Weighing a Callbox alternative?

I work with B2B teams in two ways: as a fractional Head of GTM or by setting up the outbound function inside your team, so your people run it. If you'd rather have it built and run for you, that's what my agency, Shipyard GTM, does. Book a call and we'll work out which fits.
